Hero Abilities Package - Dragon, Vishap

Vishap Dragon

Vishap Dragon Racial Package (Cost 134-112=22)

Conversion Notes: This package represents the minimum abilities of a young (16 to 25 year old) vishap dragon from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. This write-up uses Champions 5th edition rules.

Vishap dragons are one of the smallest and weaker of the common dragon types. It has good intelligence. Although it can survive in any climate, it prefers deserts. They have no breath weapon but can attack with their powerful claws and bite. They can cast a sleep spell twice per day.

Although generally considered an evil race of dragons, player characters can play any alignment.

A vishap is a flightless dragon, a crafty and cowardly creature that preys on the weak and flees the strong. They are sly, cunning predators that fight through stealth and deceit. Like all dragons, vishaps are exceedingly vain and greedy.

Despite its great size, a vishap can run, climb, and jump with surprising agility, although it likes to foster a sedentary image in order to catch its opponents off-guard. The scales of a vishap can blend in perfectly with its surroundings

Vishaps compete with brown dragons, blue dragons, brass dragons and rainbow dragons for territory, and are often displaced by these larger cousins.

Like most dragons they can live for over 1000 years, see in the dark, sense the presence of invisible things, are immune to sleep and hold spells.
