Explanation of the conversion: Twin Twist can only use his drills in vehicle form, and only use his cannon in robot form. I removed the normal Concentration disadvantage on his Shape Shift power to represent how easily a Jumpstarter changes form.

History (Dreamwave comics): When civil war broke out on the planet Cybertron between the Autobots and Decepticons, Twin Twist joined the Autobot cause.

When Decepticon leader Megatron and Autobot leader Optimus Prime disappeared in an accident with a space bridge, the Autobot and Decepticon forces splintered into smaller factions. Twin Twist joined up with the Wreckers under the leadership of Springer.

Springer lead the Wreckers to a mission in the Tagan Heights, suspecting that Ratbat's Ultracons were attempting to secure the Heights. His team discovered that Devastator had joined the Ultracons. The Wreckers faced Devastator in combat, but were defeated. The battle was then joined by the Protectabots, who formed Defensor (Transformers: The War Withing - The Dark Ages #2).

Eventually Ultra Magnus was able to reunite the Autobot factions, and Twin Twist rejoined the Autobots.

Twin Twist After the Great Shutdown Topspin and Twin Twist served as bodyguards for Shockwave, but were secretly loyal to Ultra Magnus.

Nothing is more exhilarating to Twin Twist than the feeling of sinking his drills into a slab of unblemished carbon-steel. Like a child in a wading pool, he splashes among the shards of useless metal that result from his destructive fury, and his habit of showing off his talents to almost any target, whether an enemy Decepticon or a harmless lamp post, causes extreme concern for Optimus Prime. Optimus realizes that the wrecking of property belonging to innocent Earthlings can only hurt the Autobot cause. Twin Twist's wild, uncontrollable nature is a big plus in battle, but many of his fellow Autobots think he's more trouble than he's worth.

Trivia: The toy of Twin Twise is similar to that of Salt-Man Z.

Twin Twist Powers: Twin Twist is incredibly strong and brave. He is nearly as mobile as his brother Topspin, Twin Twist can go up to 200 mph using his four wheels and his two tractor modules in vehicle mode. He'll usually follow Topspin's initial assault on a target with his own: he uses his two diamond-tipped drills, which can go as fast as 6000 rpm, to penetrate virtually any fortification up to three yards thick. He carries a semiautomatic cannon-rifle that fires explosive shells, each with the energy equivalent of 100 pounds of TNT. He can transform from vehicle to robot mode in .4 seconds, but can only use his drills in vehicle mode. Twin Twist sometimes utilizes a standard Autobot jet pack.

Weaknesses: His reckless nature often gets him into trouble, and has even led Optimus to consider making him inoperative. He is at a relative disadvantage in robot mode without the use of his drills. Overall, Twin Twist isn't very smart.
