Explanation of the conversion: I decided to give Tap-Out a small gun just so he had some sort of weapon.

Glyph and Tap-Out History: A former prisoner of the Decepticons in the infamous grease pits of Polyhex, Tap-Out is one of the most durable and effective hand to hand combatants in the Autobot ranks. Tortured by his tragic past and his harsh treatment at the hands of the Decepticon, Tap-Out has devoted himself to the protection of all innocent life. Though he covers his internal anguish with cheery and optimistic demeanor, Tap-Out maintains an almost religious devotion to the individual he protects.

In the early 21st century Glyph was sent on a scientific research mission by Rodimus Prime. Worried about her safety security chief Kup assigned Tap-Out as her body guard.

After crashing on an alien world and being stranded for 300 years Glyph and Tap-Out were discovered by the Wreckers commanded by Primal Prime.

After the defeat of Megatron II the planet Cybertron was left reformatted into a techno-organic world.

On the reformatted techno-organic Cybertron Cheetor, Rattrap, Silverbolt III and Blackarachnia were interviewed by the Autobot reporter Rook. They then welcomed the Autobots Roulette, Shadowstriker, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker back to Cybertron. Buzzsaw III, Quickstrike II and Rockbuster were also present. The returning Autobots along with Blackarachnia and Silverbolt III were then abducted via teleportation beams and taken to Unicron. Tap-Out, Megatron IV, Brawn, Grimlock and Snarl III were also abducted from various timelines. Silverbolt III, Blackarachnia, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were forcibly reformatted by Unicron. Taken captive by Razorclaw IV, Reptilion, Obsidian III, Tankor II and Striker, the Autobots were forced to fight one another. They witnessed Smokescreen III kill Smokescreen, whose spark was absorbed by Unicron. Sensing the need for a champion Primus and Alpha Trion brought Optimus Primal back to life (Transformers: Universe #1).

Tap-Out was among the Cybertonians kidnapped by Unicron. He escaped with a large number of his fellow prisoners thanks to Optimus Primal and returned to Cybertron (Transformers: Universe #2).

Trivia: Tap-Out was only available at the Botcon 2002 convention. The toy of Tap-Out is similar to that of Cliffjumper.

Tap-Out Powers: Extremely fast, agile and physically resilient. He can turn into a car. He is an expert in hand-to-hand combat. He carries a small laser pistol and sometimes utilizes a standard Autobot jet pack.

Weaknesses: Tap-Out has minimal firepower. He tends to act first and think about the consequences later. Tap-Out is among the lowest ranking Autobots.
