Explanation of the conversion: Since there was no individual tech spec for Prowl II this write-up is based on information in the combined tech specs of Magnaboss and that of the Japanese release of Prowl II called Lio Junior.

Magnaboss History: Prowl II is a young Maximal named after an Autobot hero of the Great War. He desperately tries his hardest to prove his worth to the other Maximals. Though fearless, he can be very rash at times and often doesn’t think things through. Though in the end he has a kind spark and only wants to be viewed as an equal among his Maximal peers. Prowl II was partnered with Ironhide II and Silverbolt II in a project to perfect combiner technology which was an astounding success in creating the gestalt warrior Magnaboss.

After the defeat of Megatron II 300 years in the future Magnaboss became a member of the High Council along with Torca, Air Hammer and Bantor. Optimus Primal came before them to warn them of the coming of Unicron (Transformers: Universe #3).

Trivia: Prowl II shouldn't be confused with Prowl, an Autobot who turns into a car, or Prowl III, a Maximal who turns into a transmetal owl. In Japan Prowl II is called Lio Junior.

Prowl II Powers: Prowl II is energy efficient and is totally fearless. He is as strong as he is fast. In robot form he carries a cyberclaw weapon and has two small blasters mounted in his chest. He is capable of short range flight in robot mode. He converts into a lion form which is capable of running at high speeds and has powerful teeth and claws. He recovers from damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon levels as well.

Prowl II combines with Ironhide II and Silverbolt II to form Magnaboss.

Weaknesses: Prowl II can sometimes be impulsive and over confident. In beast mode he lacks ranged weapons. He cannot fly in beast mode. High energon fields can adversely effect Prowl II if he stays in robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon levels.
