Explanation of the conversion: Although this write-up is meant to represent Mixmaster in his Generation One form,
it also works for his Cybertonian and Generation Two forms.
History (Dreamwave): Mixmaster was recruited as a Decepticon under the leadership of Megatron in his war against the Autobots on the planet Cybertron.
Mixmaster and the Constructions were successful in designing the first combiner, when they designed a united form for
themselves called Devastator.
When Megatron and Autobot leader Optimus Prime disappeared in an accident with a space
bridge, the Autobot and Decepticon forces splintered into smaller factions. Mixmaster joined up with the Ultracons under
the leadership of Ratbat.
Nothing is safe from Mixmaster's seething cauldron. He will use any material necessary, whether unliving
rock or living robot, in the making of some new material. He's been known to swallow up brand new limousines and reduce
them to steel girders, and he performs his often grisly tasks with an evil, cackling glee that more befits a medieval
witch than a Constructicon. The manner in which he creates new materials resembles an arcane ritual. Sometimes his fellow
Decepticons wonder if perhaps Mixmaster has a few microchips loose in his logic center, but they never question the
results of his efforts.
Trivia: On the Transformers television show, the voice of Mixmaster
is played by actor Frank Welker. In the television series it was
revealed that all the Constructicons were once good, but then Megatron rewrote their personalities with his Robo-Smasher
weapon, turning them evil. The Constructicons were reissued as Generation Two Transformers in an orange color. There have
been other color variants of them made by other companies as well, including ones which are smaller than the original. The
original Diaclone Mixmaster was black in color.
Powers: Mixmaster is very touch and highly skilled. He can fly. He carries a laser pistol and a shoulder-mounted
optical distortion projector, which, by bending light waves, disorients the vision of anyone caught in its field. While
his alternate form has the appearance of a standard concrete mixer, Mixmaster can, by using various acids and bonding
agents, reduce and recombine virtually any substances put inside his drum and use them to form new substances. He is a
chemistry lab on wheels capable of speeds of nearly 80 mph. Atop the roof of his cab, he can mount a powerful infrared cannon which emits bursts of 8000° C
heat for an effective range of .8 miles. He can also fire a stream of acid powerful enought to melt steel. When combined
with his fellow Constructicons he serves as the left leg module in the giant robot known as Devastator.
Weaknesses: Mixmaster isn't very fast. His mixing drum can be rendered inoperative by the addition of certain
chemicals, particularly alkalides.
