Explanation of the conversion: I reasoned that Lana's lead mask would not only protect her head from harm, but protect her from mental attacks. Therefore I gave her Mental Defense and some Armor with an activation roll.

Gravity Girl's origin! History: Lana Lang was a normal teenage girl in Smallville, Kansas. Lana was obsessed with uncovering the identity of the hero of Smallville, Superboy.

One day her father, an archaeologist and explorer, returned from an expedition to Africa where he had discovered a lost city which he believed was populated by an advanced race of aliens. Among the artifacts he brought back with him was a glowing belt which he theorized had unusual powers, but he couldn't test it because the belt was too small to be worn by an adult. Lana was able to get the belt on and quickly discovered it granted her super strength and the ability to fly. Lana used the belt to stop a robber, where she also learned she was bullet proof.

Lana told her parents she wanted to be a super hero, which they reluctantly agreed to since she seemed to be invulnerable to harm. Lana's mother made her a colorful costume and her father fashioned her a lead mask to hide her identity from all, including Superboy. Lana hit the Smallville super-scene as Gravity Girl.

Gravity Girl and Superboy became rivals for a short time, but quickly Superboy noticed that Gravity Girl was vulnerable to being hurt by things such as wood, fire and rocks. Worried about her safety in the dangerous life as a super-heroine, Superboy was able to learn her secret identity and convinced Lana's parents to have her stop being Gravity Girl. Superboy then destroyed the belt.

Powers: Lana has no super human powers, but as Gravity Girl she wore a magical belt and a lead mask. The belt increased Lana's speed and strength to superhuman levels as well as allowing her to fly. The belt could also generate a field which protected her from harm by metal attacks, but provided no protection from materials such as wood, stone, fire or even a human fist. The mask protected her identity, even from people who had X-Ray vision, as well as protecting her head from physical harm and mental attacks.
