Explanation of the conversion: I know the toy of Bonecrusher II can fire it's missiles in either mode, but I thought it would be more consistant with the television series if his weapons only worked in robot mode.

Stasis pods History: Bonecrusher II was one of the protoforms from the Maximal ship called the Axalon commanded by Optimus Primal, which chased the Predacon criminal Megatron II through transwarp space after the theft of the Golden Disc. The Maximals and Predacons crashed on prehistoric Earth, where high energon levels threatened to destroy the crew unless they adopted organic alternate modes (Beast Wars Part 1).

Falling to Earth, Bonecrusher II came online and was formatted in the form of a bison. He eventually joined up with Optimus Minor and Wolfang.

When Rattrap was under attack by Dinobot II, he was saved by Bonecrusher II, Optimus Minor and Wolfang. Although Rattrap was happy to discover new Maximals, the three refused to go with him back to Maximal base (Transformers: Summer Special 2004).

Bonecrusher II is as stubborn as he is strong, nothing can stop the brawny Bonecrusher II when he charges into battle to crack some skulls! Like a living locomotive with a one-track mind, all he wants to do is fight, fight, fight! His friends try to get him to lighten up, if only to prevent him from overheating an internal coolant co-processor, but Bonecrusher II would rather be out pounding his enemies into cyber scrap. His favorite attack strategy is to stun opponents with a dizzying head-butt, and then finish them off with a fast-firing missile shot straight from his mouth.

Trivia: Bonecrusher II should not be confused with Bonecrusher, a Constructicon who turns into a construction vehicle, Bonecrusher III, a Mini-Con who turns into a missile truck, Bonecrucher IV, a Decepticon Micromaster, Bonecrusher V, another Decepticon who turns into a construction vehicle from the Transformers: Energon line, or Bonecrusher VI, another construction vehicle in the Transformers: Universe line. The toy of Bonecrusher II is similar to that of Bighorn.

Bonecrusher II Powers: Bonecrusher II is highly energy efficient and has incredible strength and courage. He can fire powerful missiles from his mouth. He converts into a bison which can charge at speeds of over 80 mph for short bursts. He recovers from damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon levels as well.

Weaknesses: Bonecrusher II may be strong, but he can run out of steam if a battle goes long, which is why he tries to win quickly. He can sometimes be impulsive and over confident. In beast mode he lacks ranged weapons. He cannot fly. High energon fields can adversely effect Bonecrusher II if he stays in robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon levels.
