Explanation of the conversion:

Bantor Tempermental and solitary, Bantor relishes his fuzor anamalien fusion. After the defeat of Megatron II 300 years in the future Bantor became a member of the High Council along with Magnaboss, Air Hammer, Torca, Battle Unicorn and Corahda.

Optimus Primal came before the High Council to warn of the return of Unicron, but they questioned his story and ordered him confined for fear he would start a panic among the population of Cybertron (Transformers: Universe #3).

Trivia: Although the Tech Specs for Bantor claim his form is half baboon, the character more closely resembles a mandrill in form.

Bantor Powers: Bantor is highly energy efficient, intelligent, brave and well skilled. He can assume the form of a baboon/tiger hybrid with a top land speed of over 70 mph. Enhanced by the attributes of a baboon's and tiger's instincts, he is a natural warrior in total flux with the ways of combat. Extremely versitile, Bantor combines the cunning patience of a tiger with the near-demented frenzy of a baboon, deleting the need for ammunition in close-range combat. The Maximal's first choice for recon demolition missions, Bantor can traverse deep into enemy territory and escape undetected. Largly unknown by the enemy, his reputation for setting undectectable traps exeeds his identity, though his power-ram head butt and right hook are widely considered devastating. He recovers from damage quicker in beast mode and is better protected from high energon levels as well.

Weaknesses: Bantor lacks ranged firepower compared to most Maximals. He cannot fly. High energon fields can adversely effect Bantor if he stays in robot form for too long. His animal form is protected from high energon levels.
