  • About The Game:

  • Synopsis: The sequal to the famous game Doom, Doom II arrived at the same time on the Amiga as the original. Both games basically use the same engine, but different data files. Doom II requires more hard drive space then the original, but it is worth it to have both running on your system. Thanks to command line options in DoomAttack you can even have both in the same drawer, and merely specify which one you wish to play. Many of the add-ons only work with Doom or Doom II, so if you want to play the multitude of .WAD files for Doom on your system, I recomend having both. Right now I use an Amiga Doom engine called DoomAttack by Georg Steger. By merely installing his executable, support files, prefs program and a rather large datafile from the MS-DOS version of Doom II, I get a very professional Doom II on my Amiga 1200.
